In late 2006, at the height of a bull run at the Nairobi Stocks Market, Kainvestor Capital ltd. was formed out of the need to serve the small investors who were (and still are) grossly underserved. In a market where information and services are skewed towards high net worth investors, retail investors are left misinformed, underserved and end up investing blindly (speculating). We saw the gap and in the process of filling it up through Our Blog, we discovered that we could provide more to the small investors in terms of investment and advisory services, thus the name ‘Kainvestor’, meaning ‘the small investor’.
